Metric Rule
Happy Thanksgiving!
Exactly one week ago Hannah came to visit me. We went to see Metric at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel with my friends Gan and Brice. It was really exciting to see Emily Haines in action (something I've been waiting for since who knows when). Unfortunately no cameras were allowed in, so I just had my iPhone:

Hannah also brought her camera, so we got a couple nice pre-concert shots:
We went to Brickway Friday morning for a quick breakfast before Hannah had to head back to New York:
All in all it was the perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. Come back soon Hannie!

Two pieces
So our drawing show happened tonight and now it's over. We had a large showing, 70+ people I'd say (facebook says 99, but that can't be). Here's two fairly good photos of the pieces I showed, both 50x38 inches:

Halloween:
I'm finally back.
Halloween was pretty fun, but I don't have any good photos of my costume yet.
Krista and I did carve pumpkins though!:

Providence Seekonk River Lift Bridge
These are a few photos of a beautiful old bridge in Providence. I have been trying to figure out how to get to it, and a few weeks ago I finally made it. The bridge doesn't operate anymore, but someone (presumably a vagrant) is building a house boat/raft underneath. Such a carefree notion, makes me want to pick up and float away...
Also, this is the only place I've ever been to where I loved the graffiti. It adds to the bridge I think, constantly changing and updating it, chronicling time, and making the tired old iron completely modern.
